The lovely New Jersey town of Atlantic Highlands is a unique community located along Sandy Hook bay in Monmouth County and has the distinction of being the highest point along the Eastern Seaboard south of Maine. Things to Do
Venture off and have an adventure as you travel to the Mount Mitchell Scenic Overlook. Get some exercise or look at the water and nature and walk the Henry Hudson Trail or take a hike in Hartshorne Woods.
In July, Atlantic Highlands hosts the
FilmOneFest film festival and the annual
Fireman’s Fair, a family-style carnival with attractions, games, fireworks and food.
